Bolivar Petit Coronas - 25 cigars
- Product Review (submitted on December 6, 2021):
- I got a box of these about 6 months ago, and have smoked one every 6-8 weeks as they settle in. I had read that powerful Bolivar Habanos can take years to come into their own, and this seems to be an example. The first two were really disjointed and off, with tight, sparse draws and uneven burns. Since then, I've cut the cap and dryboxed them for an many days as it takes for the moist young tobacco to shrink, and get a reasonable draw (up to 9 days). The taste is beginning to round out, but is still woody and sharp. I fully expect they will become 5-star cigars, but they're not there yet. For a luscious mareva with little waiting, I recommend the Monte 4 and the Partagas PCE, and the latter is far less expensive than the Bolivar PC.
