My first experience with a Bolivar and I must say this is an excellent medium body cigar. Excellent burn and draw with plenty of smoke produced. Great flavors of leather, sweet cream and just a touch of spice. I imagine a little humidor time will really make these 5 star. Box code I received was Oct 19. This was my first time smoking a Bolivar and it was an AWESOME experience! The flavors popped and the draw was on point. Probably one of the best medium to full body that I have tried. Bolivar is one of the Cuban brands that doesn't quite get the hype that the more familiar brands (Montecristo,H. Upmann, Cohiba) tend to generate and yet, I believe it is one of the best out there. I bought a box of these in tubos on the recommendation of of a fella down at the local B&M. I got the tubos as they were in boxes of 10, and I didn't want to splurge on 25 without trying one first. I'll say this...I should have bought the full box. This was a most excellent cigar from pre-light to the final nub. I had heard that these packed a little bit of a punch. I didn't get that at all.
