Perfect smoke when you don’t have time for a Siglo VI. These cigars when aged for at least three years are smooth as silk from first third to last third. Great draw and great smoke, everything you would expect form Cohiba.

I love this cigars size and flavor. Lay them down for 5+ years. Just had one from 2010. Strong flavors of honey and that grassy flavor. Great!

For the last several years the IV has been one of to my fav. Cohibas! The Carona Especial has been hard to get, So when combining price and flavor, this is two thumbs! As always top quality and delivery from CT!!

No ! Since the Punch S. Select. II has been discontinued, the Siglo V is now, indoubtedly, the best Corona gorda in current production.
Beside its price, which is his main default, as always in this brand (...), you shall notice and like the inevitable true taste of Cohiba, with typicals phenols : the tate of the House.
The Dalia (Siglo VI) is quite the same but, because of the perfect balance of the vitola, the Gorda is better as the end of the Dalia, which is longer, does not deliver the right taste you may expect. So it could be said the Siglo V is more constant.

My favourite smoke, light and grassy to begin with, building slowly to a perfect medium body toward the last third. Always a clean burn line and always pleasently surprises with how long it lasts. Hard to beat and a must in any humidor

The Siglo IV box was stamped March 2013. This review took place three weeks ago in June 2014. The cigars are 15 months old - not too young to scare aficionados away, that is.

1st Third:

Siglo IV is 46-gauged - not too unwieldy to light and smoke. The stogie, upon first lighting, with its great draw produced fair amount of gray smoke. The aroma was floral and cedar all the way. The body was light to medium with a long finish.

2nd third:

Siglo IV has transitioned to a medium-bodied strength and the aroma has evolved very rapidly to coffee/cocoa and persimmon (oddly enough but very true!!). For a-year-old cigar, I have to admit it is super smooth. I cannot fathom the effect of three to four years of aging can do to the final outcome of the quality of this smoke...

Final third:

Now the cigar is full-bodied with chocolate, caramel and honey all along. Marvelous smoke, really. I dry-boxed this specimen for one day only as summers here are quite humid already. I shall dry-box the future specimens to note any differences attained. Overall, I loved Siglo IV for its bouquet and evolution even at its present youth.

I recommend aging the cigar for at least 2.5 to 3 years to get the best out of this stogie. A must have in any and every humidor.
