An excellent offering from HU. Let acclimate in my humidor for about 4 months, as an add-on to the 2 years of 'aging' from date on box. These little jewels are definitely ON. Beautiful color and aroma meet me when I open the box. Perfect draw accompanied by a perfect amount of smoke with an even burn throughout. Spiced cream flavor with a backdrop of cocoa seems to steadily build from the beginning with a hint of cedar and a nuttiness toward the end. This was really a very good smoke. My only complaint is that I have smoked 4 so far and about half have had a very tight, difficult draw. Now the other 2 have been great little smokes - full of flavor, good draw, great aroma. - A fantastic, well made small cigar , 11/4/2015 By Jonathan

I wanted to wait on this review until I had some time with a box I ordered. Having now smoked 7 out of a 25 count box over the course of about a month or so; I feel comfortable sharing a review.
I prefer small cigars. As the world seems to move towards larger and larger ring gauge cigars I have been disappointed by many small format cigars. The Upmann Half coronas have renewed my faith in these smaller sizes!
My box was from 2014 and had a beautiful tan/ Colorado color. Floral and sweet/ fruit notes were right upfront from the opening of the box. Construction was spot on, with all 7 I've sampled having a dead even burn and ash that would hang on right up to the band every time.
Aroma was also key here. Leaving my house filled with a almost incense like heavy tobacco flower smell. It's been one of the few cigars where other people have commented on the pleasantness of the aroma.
After a month in my humidor at 67% all the cigars developed a silky wrapper with just the faintest sugary plume. Each time I smoked one they noticeably improved and I have now hid half the box away from myself as age will make these a classic.
A must try, and a must buy.
Smoking time was about 30- 40 mins. No bitterness or heat, smoked well to the end and only built up in positive flavours through the finish.

Nice looking stick which burnt well and had a good medium flavour. First 3rd was worried about draw. Thereafter no problems with plumes of smoke. - Good little cigar , 4/9/2015 By Sean

This cigar is dense. Like it'd hurt someone if i threw it at them. Interestingly this didn't affect the draw. While not perfect it was free enough.
The wrapper had a soft leather feel to it. Prelight aromas were heavy on the dry grass and coffee.
Initial flavors after light maintained the coffee and grass flavors, nut and earthy tobacco were added to the mix. The flavors didn't change at all throughout the cigar. There was a change in texture though at about the halfway point. Prior to that the smoke was on the airy side. After the halfway point it became oily.
There was no strength to the cigar and wasn't anymore than mild to medium in body. The burn was perfect the first half but then lost its razor sharpness in the second half. It did need one touch up toward the end.
The smoke output throughout the cigar was plentiful.
The box and date code was ULE AGO14. They do need some more time to acclimate to my humidor and maybe some more rest wouldn't hurt them any. - top of the line , 2/21/2015 By Franklin

Man, what a pleasure to smoke this small beauty. Great construction, medium flavor and need to keep in my rotation all the time. If you need a short smoke that rivals the larger big boys this is it. Often out of stock so get it if you see it.

My favorite short smoke, if I have 20/30mins to sit down with a coffee or glass of whiskey and this cigar, I am a happy man. Very smooth, good draw, and a surprisingly large amount of smoke - especially after the half way point.
