- Time in you Humidor is your friend ! ! , 10/2/2017 By Douglas

This is a follow-up to my previous review as I have finished the box of 25. The positive is that the cigar flavor and taste has notably improved even after only 4-months in a humidor. A negative would be that several of the cigars burned unevenly and 2 or 3 were nearly plugged. I have now smoked two boxes of Cuban cigars and my initial reaction is that there is inconsistency in the rolling. For every 4 or 5 cigars with a nice-smooth-even draw and burn you are likely to get 1 that is less than satisfactory.
This rarely happens with higher-end Dominican or Nicaraguan brands. - Pleasant Smoke ! , 5/4/2017 By Douglas

This cigar was smoked fresh out of the box upon arrival. The bottom of the box had a factory code of MEG, a date code of Oct 15, and the inscription Totalmente a Mano, meaning "totally by hand" or hand-made. It was punched and had good draw, burn and ash for a full 70 minutes. The strength began mild plus with rather uneventful flavors in the first third. The volume of smoke and the strength increased to medium during the remaining 2/3rds and, other than tobacco, there were still no discernible or outstanding flavors. While smokable now, it is said that the flavor(s) will blossom with aging so time in my humidor will tell. - Best small cigar , 1/12/2017 By Matthew

Not my ideal size, I am more of a Robusto man - but if you're pushed for time (maybe winter has struck and you can't stand the cold) then this is the next best thing. Excellent peppery flavour, that is bigger than it's stature. Every self respecting cigar smoker needs some of these in his/her humidor for the occasion where a quick smoke is required. - King of the Marevas , 4/10/2016 By Ronald

They need age to allow the leather to start changing to cream, but one of the most balanced petit coronas. - First H. Upmann , 3/24/2016 By Michael

Wanted to try this Petit Corona to find out if JFK knew what he was talking about they are a little on the mild side and never compare this cigar to the Cohiba Siglo II but all in all it was a pleasantly surprising smoke and one that may get better with age. - Very smooth , 3/14/2016 By Maximus

A very enjoyable burn. I know it will be better after spending time in my humidor. Well made. An excellent smoke and great value for the money. - JFK's Favorite , 8/1/2015 By john

President Kennedy had his press secretary Pierre Salinger buy up Washington D.C.'s entire supply of these cigars immediately before he signed the embargo against Cuba, so there's a solid endorsement from one of history's great cigar lovers. On a dramatically less influential note, I believe these are terrific little cigars. Being one of the world's more popular vitolas gives this Upmann lots of competition - the Montecristo #4 for example - which the Upmann equals or exceeds in terms of construction, burn, and taste. That said, Upmann itself makes a cigar that is virtually indistinguishable - the Corona Major Tubo - which in my opinion has slightly more of that distinct Upmann flavor and is equally attractive. Instead of a slight box press though the Majors are perfectly round as each one is packaged in its own aluminum tube. Oh, and Cigar Terminal sells them for less! So buy a box of the PCs for a taste of history but buy the Majors for an even better taste overall. - OK Petit Corona , 7/14/2015 By Rob

Nice rustic looking cigar. A little bland in first third, but by final third a good earthy aroma. - Great Cigar , 1/11/2015 By Andrew

Overall one of my favourite cigars. Occasional one is rolled a bit tight but other than that they're very enjoyable. Mild flavour and smoking time is just over 60 minutes! - Great everyday cigar , 6/3/2014 By Joseph

Solid performer, not overpowering, and a nice earthy, leather flavor.
