Presentation
The H.Upmann Regalias comes in a beautiful retro style aluminum tin of 5 cigars
Dimensions:
Length: 129 mm
Diameter: 16.67 mm
Ring gauge: 42
Shape: Petit Corona
Appearance:
The H Upmann Regalias come in a pretty aluminum tin which slides open to reveal 5 premium cigars. When picking one, we can see that it has a somewhat rustic appearance; the wrapper is a bit rough, with few apparent veins, but is slightly oily. The cigar is pretty firm and evenly packed from the head to the foot
Smoking Notes:
Before lighting up
The wrapper has a nice tobacco smell.
Burn/ Draw
Once cut, the draw is on the tight side, but not hindering the quality of the smoke. The aromas at cold are slightly spicy. The cigar lights up quickly and burns well. The first puffs give some aromas of green pepper and wood. The burn line is great and does not require any touch-up. The ash has a nice white color and is holding solidly.
Initial third:
The first third of the cigar is dominated by woodsy flavors and coffee. There are also herbal notes, sweetness, creaminess and some hints of toastiness. The cigar is pretty complex, and the flavors are mild in strength.
Middle third:
In the middle third, the flavor profile is similar to that of the previous third, with the addition of roasted aromas. This middle third is very pleasant.
Final third:
In the final third, some bitterness appears but doesn't hamper the pleasant smoking experience.
In summary, it is a very good choice for an everyday smoke, especially for new comers to Habanos.
Smoking time:
40 – 60 Minutes

A GREAT Cigar
, - These cigars are a great smoke. It takes about 45 mins to smoke one of these but with the flavors of this cigar it is time well spent. I will be buying more. Cigar Terminal did a great job with shipping. I had my order in about 6 days after ordering

Medium bodied, not light
, - I bought five of these last year primarily for the cool Linea Retro tin, expecting the cigars to be too mild for my taste. I've been pleasantly surprised and just bought a full box. I found the write-up a bit misleading. Though these begin delicate and floral, some mid-palate spice makes an entrance by about the first third, and the flavor steadily builds to a balanced, resonant flavor that every bit of medium bodied. Cigar Aficionado rated these 93 in 2021, calling them medium-full bodied and said they "pack a punch". I agree.

, - My purchase was awesome with the tin. Great smoke and draw was was excellent all the way thru. Lots of pepper flavor but not overwhelming until the end. Mine have to age just a bit.

very pleasant smoke and hand
, - a little pricey for every day smoking but with a glass of whiskey on the porch it is well worth the time to savor its complex tastes and textures on your tongue

Recommended enjoyable spicy smoke
, - Flavorful spicy cigar that reminds me more of a Partagas than an Upmann, but that's a good thing. Kind of peppery, but not overwhelming. About a 45 minute smoke that comes in a collectable tin. I would rate it at 4.5 stars, Cigar Afficianado gives them a 93. I'm buying them again, before they sell out. It's an enjoyable afternoon smoke.
