Smoking Notes:
Before lighting up
The foot of the cigar bears aromas of dark spices, wood, leather, and some natural sweetness.
Burn/ Draw
A slightly firm draw and a slightly wavy burning stick but corrects itself. Lots of smoke.
Initial third:
The first thirds greets you with some amazing flavors of wood, spices, espresso and toast. The cigar is complex and pleasant right from the start, and the aromas are well balanced, as every Habano out of H. Upmann brand. The burn line is nice and neat, the cigar produces a nice amount of smoke. This is a dense and elaborate cigar; this is why its strength is slightly over medium despite being full of aromas.
Middle third:
In the second third, the nice bouquet of flavors still goes on. The complexity and richness of the cigar make the smoke amazing. The coffee beans aroma comes to the foreground in the second third, and some nutty notes also appear alongside. There are some leather notes present in this third. The flavors of cedar and oak are still very present and the third ends on a spicy note and with toasty flavors.
Final third:
In the final third, the flavors register is in line with the second third. The cigar is extremely well constructed and balanced, so that all the flavors complete each other. The coffee aroma is still the most significant and wonderful; the flavors of leather, spices and nuts bring the whole cigar to fullness. The cigar is producing once again a very aromatic and generous smoke. The burn line corrects itself to be close to perfect. The Magnum 50 never gets too hot and is definitely a solid medium in strength. The finish is great.
In summary, a fantastic cigar! If you are looking for a great Cuban H. Upmann, and you are looking for a little bit thicker of a cigar, I would grab this smoke.

By EL JEFE - At medium strength, the cigar has that nice classic H. Upmann tobacco flavor. In addition, the 1st third adds a slight pepper to the back of the throat along with a slight bitterness. However, the 2nd third quickly evolves into an ultra-creamy smooth creamsicle. The cigar virtually feels like it’s levitating as the creaminess intensifies which further extends into a taste of rich caramel, unlike any other. In the last third as the burn line reaches the cigar band, it gets rough and delivers a strong nicotine kick.

Great smoke!! One of the best cigars

By Tom - I bought these two years ago and just purchased ten more. The first third was toasted bread with espresso, and the burn and draw had lots of smoke. Second third was a coffee bean and cram taste which made the cigar very smooth. Last third some cedar woods taste. Smoked it until there was nothing left. Need to get these in again.

By EBWing - An amazing smoke! I have tried all sizes and didn’t notice much difference until I had an magnum 50! Wow just wow very elegant such a beautiful relaxing smoke and so cedar and sweet and chocolate. Wow! All sizes are wonderful the 50 is just perfect! Get some you won’t be sorry!

By Pavlus - Great size with a moderate paced burn. Consistent strength until the last 1/4 where it get's a bit of a punch.
