Box arrived in pristine condition. Opening the box, the cigars smell so yummy. It was tough to even let the cigars rest for a week. This is my first taste of a cigar aged more than 3 or 4 years. I can now understand why people age cigars for decades. The cigar is so smooth and complex. Because this is a milder cigar, the over 10 years of aging makes this cigar absolutely ready to smoke. I am curious to try some of the other anejados from Partagas and R&J. These anejados are quite expensive but it is definitely worth the premium to be able to smoke an aged cigar without waiting 10 years. All cigar smokers should try some aged cigars in their lifetime to really appreciate how good Cuban cigars can be. - Carefully aged- ready to smoke! , 9/28/2016 By Kirk

I've aged a number of cigars on my own- sometimes for as much as a decade. These Hoyos were made in 2006 and released in 2015.
The aroma is lovely. When smoked they are balanced and the flavors are moderated and integrated. Very enjoyable and a good buy on the summer sale!
