This is a really nice cigar. Smoked one right out of the delivery package and it was good to go. Construction and burn were great. Medium draw, flavorful and smooth, and good smoke production. Tasty right down to the nub. This one's a winner - Delicious high quality Cuban , 6/11/2017 By Tim

This was pleasurable throughout. I have tried other Hoyo de Monterrey, but this was my clear favourite on the one tasting so far. The stick lit easily, burned evenly and needed no help at any stage. The flavour was delicious early on, mild and well balanced. Some may want more punch, but for me it was perfect. The flavour built mid-smoke but was never harsh. The last third, while of course fuller, remained tasty.
