Got this as part of the sampler and smoked this one within 3 days of arrival. Had some burn issues but draw and flavor was pretty good. Not as smooth and creamy as the Partagas but pretty good for the price. I will let my other cigar from the sampler settle in the humi for another week before I make my final decision on this cigar. Thank you again Cigar Terminal. - Age is a good thing , 12/18/2016 By David

While these can be smoked young...with a little aging (1-2 years) they are even better. The dried fruit, noticeably oranges are more pronounced with age...and it only gets smoother with age. - Better second time around , 11/5/2016 By Franklin

Tried this blend about two years ago and was a tad underwhelmed with it. Thought it lacked complexity. Now two years later tried it again and it was much improved. Flavor was full bodied, not overpowering but you know it was going to be smooth. Only small complaint was the construction needed several re lights. - best robusto cuban , 9/14/2016 By michael

I always make sure that I have an ongoing supply of these. I try to age them for at least 4 years - so the current box I purchased will be cracked open in 2018 (box date received was 2014).
I still have a box of Coronas (no longer made) and these come pretty darn close to their characteristics. - New favorite! , 4/3/2015 By Walt

ELU. ABR 14
Nice looking medium dark veiny wrapper...nice and oily. Earthy & nutty flavor. Medium amount of smoke. This stick was a little young. I'll probably have 1 again every 3-4 months and see how they mature - Almost a 4 but...... , 9/17/2014 By Bo

Like the flavor, the shape and the look of the cigar. However I had two annoying issues with this smoke. Several times I had an uneven burn which impacted the overall experience of the cigar. Also which might have caused the uneven burn was a tough draw. This was a hindrance which knocked the rating down a star. I still would get another box as it was a good smoke but not a great one. The good outweighs the bad in this smoke - A very fine cigar , 9/14/2014 By Serap

This cigar is the first in the Juan Lopez line I have, thus far, tried.
It is quite aromatic but no great depth and evolution. I believe with age they will be great but now with 6 month to a year of age on them, they are fair at best.
The body of the stogie stated at low-medium and ended at full. It has character and with age it will become better IMHO, of course. - Pleasantly Surprised , 5/27/2014 By Alexander

After smoking and enjoying the Juan Lopez no.1, I went ahead and smoked the no.2 and again pleasantly surprised. They were given to me as a gift and I will be getting again. This time from Cigar Terminal!
