Before lighting up
Pre-light aroma is light and, with some hints of flowers.
Burn/ Draw
The Edmundo presents an even burn line, and there is a nice ash on the cigar of charcoal gray that holds firm until tapped. The draw loosens up a bit in the second third. Remains cool throughout.
Initial third:
Smooth spice, nuts, and leather dominate the outset — quite a bit of flavor for a cigar that has such mild pre-light aroma.
Middle third:
The middle third opens up with more leather and some pleasant tannins indicative of a cigar that will age well.
Final third:
The flavors profile turns bolder and finishes with a full-flavored pepper and spice down to the nub.
To summarize, great burning...smooth and warm full flavors.
Smoking time:
45 - 60 Minutes

The Count of Monte Cristo
, - Named in honor of Edmond Dantes, the legendary Count of Monte Cristo, the Montecristo Edmundo lives up to the name. More evenly balanced than the Montecristo No.2, the Edmundo is an excellent cigar with notes of spice, cedar, leather and that characteristic "tangy" note that Montecristo cigars typically have. Although good fresh out of the box, they become truly great after several years of aging in a humidor.

Highly Recommend
, - A great all around smoke! Had a few damaged but CT took care of it with no issues. I let rest for 1 month before smoking my 1st and it was excellent from start to finish. It is a toss up between the Edmundo and Ramon Allones SS on which is a better everyday smoke.

A great find
, - I have smoked a few MC's before but not the Edmundo and have to say I have been missing out. It is a lovely after dinner cigar with a good full flavour, slightly dry and reminiscent of a Cohiba Robusto. It does have a nice slow burn and a pleasant after taste, one I will be ordering again.
