Receiving my sample pack today and this is the first stick I have lit. Has always been a fan of monte since I ever tried their mediocre petit tubo open junior. I have tried monte 3 & 4 and this is the first time trying the no.2.

As this is the first torpedo I have tried I was not very sure how deep to cut and cut into a small tip which led to some tight draw. Towards few more puff I cut it open and the draw became easier.

As I'm fairly new to cigar appreciation I cannot really distinguish each tasting notes as described but I'm sure I'll pick up more as time goes. Flavour is very consistent and goes well with my milk coffee.

Definitely a good selection to have a box in humidor!
