Smoking Notes:
Before lighting up
Pre-light aroma is light and, with some hints of flowers.
Burn/ Draw
The Edmundo presents an even burn line, and there is a nice ash on the cigar of charcoal gray that holds firm until tapped. The draw loosens up a bit in the second third. Remains cool throughout.
Initial third:
Smooth spice, nuts, and leather dominate the outset—quite a bit of flavor for a cigar that has such mild pre-light aroma.
Middle third:
The middle third opens up with more leather and some pleasant tannins indicative of a cigar that will age well.
Final third:
The flavors profile turns bolder and finishes with a full-flavored pepper and spice down to the nub.
To summarize, great burning... smooth and warm full flavors.
Smoking time:
45 - 60 Minutes

Cuban classics
, - This Vitola in the line of Edmundo will please a variety of taste, but don't want to wait, this is a classic Cuban cigar, this is its charm. Now in the drain is a very high-quality party: beautiful, smooth, delicate sheet with thin veins, the color is approaching Colorado-Maduro. I bought 2016 year dated

Montecristo Edmundos
, - A fine little cigar. As befits the Montecristo brand this cigar is well made with a good burn and consistent ash. The aroma is pleasant with the taste giving a slight hint of vanilla. This is a good find during the dearth of so many different brands due the loss is so many tobacco sheds on the island. A good smoke at a good price.

Edmundos - A pleasant Surprise!!
, -
I tried these stogies back in 2005. Unfortunately, they did not leave a great impression on me then - to this effect, I could not recollect anything worthwhile.
Notwithstanding the above, I decided to give them a try again as nowadays I have come to love Robustos. (Edmundos are bigger than regular Robustos but being a firm fan of Montes, I decided to chance it.)
Upon the receipt of my order through Cigar Terminal, I let the stogies rest for a month and just gave one a go.
Boy, I have been wrong all along. They were EXQUISITE.
The evolution, the flavor and the body were out of this world - with absolutely, no rough edges at all! Spices, cocoa, cinnamon, wood & sweet tobacco all in one bundle!
I do recommend them to all who enjoy super refined Robustos.
