The Lusitanias that I had was a year old. It started out medium bodied and finished medium full. Throughout the cigar the smoke maintained its luxurious creaminess with an oily finish. Flavors drifted from chocolate, to caramal, to nuts, to creamy peanut butter with a hint of spice throughout. After an hour and 30 minutes the strength came up and was powerful for the last 15 minutes.

This was my first Lusitania and I took it upon myself to order based on some considerable research.
My second Partagas cigar. It delivered mouthfulls of thick smoke. The first 1/8 was very mild indeed, but it stepped up to the mark at the first 1/3 with the mix of Cuban richness, espresso, dark chocolate, and some dark cherry after notes. It was a pleasure to smoke, right past the band after which a little bitterness developed.
I ordered a box of ten, and will certainly put down an order for 25 or 50 and lay them to rest for a while. In my opinion, not a good cigar but a great cigar. You must however make sure you have the 90 minutes minimum to sit back and relax without interuption. - Outstanding Habano , 1/11/2015 By Chris

Initial light showed spice that transitioned quickly to a nutty flavor profile. Very good construction. Great burn but not razor sharp. Unlike other Habanos I have had it is not rolled too tight. Start of the second third gave me nutty creaminess. Very enjoyable. As I entered the second third more spice came through that added to the nut and cream. I was able to let the cigar sit for a bit and puff it right back. Smoke output was perfect. Not too much not too little. Paired this cigar with a 10 percent Belgian style ale brewed with spices and by the second third already felt a bit light headed. This is a Habano that requires sitting in a nice chair given the 2 hour smoke time.
Ended up having dinner then came back to the cigar with a cup of coffee. The last third was much more powerful and you could really tell the nicotine was full force. Still it was not harsh and more wood and coco came through with the nicotine zing.
Overall I loved the transitions, construction, and draw. By far my top Habano thus far! - Gorgeous , 11/12/2014 By Elchin

Lusitania was my second experience with Partagas cigars - and I found it absolutely gorgeous! It gives the full aroma and richness of a truly Cuban cigar that you want to keep smoking on and on. The size of this cigar is just about right one as any shorter version would leave you longing for more. My only regret is that I bought only one 10 stick box and it didn't last long enough to satisfy my appetite for good cigars.
