Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro Epicure - 24 cigars

Unlike its lighter coloured Sun Grown brother, the Maduro comes in Cello, so you don't get that awesome burst of aroma out of the box. I am tempted to take all the cello off to help them age, and get that beautiful cedar and 20th anniversary smell hit, but I am sure Nick would not wrap them in cello if there wasn't a good reason for it!

The Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro doesn't seem to have the same strong flavours as the Sun Grown, but not sure if I just haven't let them sit long enough. Still a lovely cigar, just more subtle in flavour and the madurai leaf gives more hints of those bitter chocolate flavours. it also seemed to smoke quicker that the Sun Grown, but I think it was just me puffing quicker than I should. I got around 90mins.

Still though, it has awesome construction and smoked perfectly to the nub, which I also smoked. Have only had one from the box and will put away for 6months or so before sampling again. That day I look forward to!

A truly great smoke and great value for the money.
