Good construction with a beautiful rustic oily brown wrapper. Foot appears to be well bunched.
Smoking Notes:
Before lighting up
Woody aromas, also coffee beans and nice tobacco smell.
Burn/ Draw
Perfect on both accounts.
Initial third:
Fantastic rich flavors of coffee, caramel and wood are detected; similar to the Montecristo No.4.
Middle third:
A touch of sweetness balanced by some pleasant peat and cedar.
Final third:
Creamy, earthy, with some subtle leather.
In summary, a great “go to” cigar with your morning coffee or after a post afternoon brunch or a mid-day break..

Not bad for a short filled cigar

I have mixed feelings with the Panetelas. I first purchased 2 boxes to try out. From what I can remember the first box was a great smoke. They do have a tight draw but the flavors were there.I'd say maybe 4 out of 25 were very difficult to smoke. Too many knots. Thankfully I have a Perfect Draw poker to help with the knots and tightness. This tool is the best accessory I ever bought. It saved the cigars in question.
The next box was just terrible. Out of the 25 maybe 5 were a pleasure to smoke. The remaining 20 were a challenge. The knots and tightness were unbearable. It got to a point where i just automatically pulled out a cigar and started reaming. A major pain in the a$$. I ordered 3 more boxes after the first one I smoked. I'm hoping that the bad box was just an anomaly. When you get a good one then they are a pleasure to smoke, but if you get a bad one then the pleasure goes down the toilet. -

It never disappoints call my cigar joker, extremely savory media fortress always goes well with a coffee or even a light lager type beer.
I love to smoke this cigar when I'm not having much time !!! But it is always the gratifying smoke. -
