Established by the Quintero brothers in the town of Cienfuegos, Cuba in 1924, the Quintero y Hermano brand quickly became a favorite for the locals thanks to its handmade cigars rolled with tobacco from the Vuelta Arriba in the Remedios region. Today, Quintero is still based in Cienfuegos and the brand is known for rolling handmade cigars using short-filler tobacco (also called Tripa Corta) grown in the Vuelta Abajo and Semi-Vuelta zones of the Pinar del Río region. Their cigars are mostly medium to full bodied and the best seller are the Quintero y Hermano Favoritos, Quintero y Hermano Brevas and the Quintero y Hermano Panetelas.
