A perfect box-pressed stogie with a beautiful oily wrapper! The cold draw is reminiscent of Graham crackers and honey.
The first third:
Upon lighting, I was greeted with pales of white smoke with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg followed by a lovely finish. The body was somewhere between light to medium.
The second third:
The cigar gets to be fuller-bodied with hints of cocoa, cedar & aged tobacco with cinnamon and nutmeg in the background. The aftertaste is quite long - very yummy!!
The Final third:
The Ramon Allones Specially Selected is now full-bodied with hints of wood, cinnamon & nutmeg in the foreground and aged-tobacco in the finish. The burn was straight and the draw was just right all along the smoke. Mind you, I had the cigar dry-boxed for three days just to make sure no untoward factor could hamper this review.
I nubbed this beautiful cigar - a mere one year has passed from its production date of July 2013.
I recommend this cigar to all who love the vitola and robustos with serious depth and body.

There are cigars that hit on all cylinders. Taste, construction and a pleasure to smoke . This is one of those keepers. Medium to full but not overpowering. Attractive wrapper without any blemishes. I settled in with some friends and about an hour later remarked to them how good it was. Used a Xixar cutter and lighter. The burn was right on from the start without any need for corrections. My suggestion is to buy a box, sit on it (if you can) and smoke away. - Wonderful smoke , 5/6/2014 By Haik

Here is my favorite robusto - beats out all of the others by a long shot. So complex and with intriguing flavor development. Needs at least 1-2 years from box date to be approachable and only gets better with aging. Great consistency from stick to stick, too! - Excellent Cigar! , 7/7/2013 By Robert

I had asked Ken for a recommendation as I had heard my favorite robusto was having quality issues.. He recommended RASS as a replacement cigar citing that is was smoking really well now. Boy was he right! I tried my first today from my most recent order and it was very nice. A little bitey getting to know the first 1/4 then it smoothed out so nicely! Wonderful taste to the end. Thanks for the recommendation Ken.. Really like this cigar! - Another box of beautiful Cubans... , 5/13/2013 By Russell

This box of Ramon Allones Specially Selected is my second purchase from Cigar Terminal, my first being the Partagas Serie D No. 4. The aroma of this box was of a delicious manure and the sticks themselves are just beautiful. I'm going to let these sit in the humidor for a while before torching one up. Thank you Cigar Terminal! - Amazing cigar overall for the price... , 1/5/2013 By Marcus

This is IMHO the best Cuban of 2012 right up there with Cohiba 1966 LE and Behike BHK 52. I'm working on a box from Oct 2011 and I can only drool thinking they will get better with about another years worth of age.
Delicious, creamy, thick smoke. Complexity with a touch of sweetness. Draw is average, not tight, not loose. Incredible from the first third till you nub it. Cigar Terminal also has the lowest price. Try one and you won't regret it. - So damn good! , 1/15/2012 By Jesse

I love this cigar so much and I dread the day I run out. I might just have to pick up 2 more boxes for the discounted price they have. This and the PSD#4 are smoking excellent right now without any age at all.
