A very accessible smoke. It's not too complex, not too strong, not gonna knock your socks off . . . But sometimes that's good. I've been enjoying these when I want something mild that's not going to overpower what I'm drinking, or when I want something to share with a friend who isn't going to appreciate all the nuance of something like a Party D or a Monty #2. The smaller gauge and excellent construction combine for a good draw, that smokes a little more quickly than some other robustos, and doesn't get too hot.
So, if you're looking for one Cuban to have in your humidor, this isn't it. That said, if you want to keep something around for a casual afternoon smoke, or to share with a friend that's eager to try something from the island (but is still in the "training wheels" phase) this might be a good bet.
