I have been smoking cigars for almost 40 years and early on I found (non-Cuban) Hoyos and they quickly became my favorite cigars. 20 years ago when I relocated to Montreal I was introduced to the Epicure #2 and it has been my cigar of choice since then. A robust and flavorful smoke that just gets better as the cigar displays 3 distinct flavors as each third of it burns away. I personally prefer the very last third of the cigar-so flavorful and able to stand up to any cocktail that accompanies it. I prefer a (very) Rusty Nail with my cigar but whatever you choose, be secure in knowing your Hoyo will answer the bell each and everytime. Felicitations my friends. - My favorite cigar of ALL , 7/7/2013 By Bruno

This cigar has been my favorite for a number of years. It is a medium to full bodied cigar with many great flavors. If you have not had the pleasure of trying one, you need to. - A Wonderful Memory , 8/20/2011 By PollyWolly (The Cigar Bird)

Although similar in size to the Partagas Serie D No. 4, this is a true ambassador for the both the entire Cuban cigar industry and the brand it represents so magnificently.
Unlike the Partagas, it is slightly more assertive and domineering. It renders the smoker almost speechless at first, while he tries to grasp the scope of this portly little Habanos finesse.
The underpinnings of this cigar are concealed in moderate smoke that belies both the imagination and visual perceptions. It almost defies total logic...
How can such moderate smoke produce such incredible taste and aroma? I may never fully understand the infinite details of how one cigar can taste so different and set itself so far apart from others. My only concern is to enjoy.
This is a great Habano that you should yield to as soon as you can. They smell great even before you light one!
My memory with this cigar first occurred in Paris with my brother-in-law about ten years ago. We came across them in a glass case near the register of the cafe where we had enjoyed lunch. We bought many more of this cigar for the entire two weeks we were in France and still love them to this day. C'est La Vie!
