While I don't like this as much as my favorite Cuban cigars, it's not very far behind. There is a lot of flavor from beginning to end and the aroma is 100% Cuban just like all the top names. The burn and draw were both good (and I didn't even let them rest after 2 weeks of shipping so I expect it will get better) If this was priced the same as other Cubans I'd probably give it 4 stars but being that it is such a great value I'm giving 5 all the way. Purchased another 50 of the Brevas from Cigar Terminal. They arrived in perfect shape and the shipping time was even faster than before. These cigars, although they are machine wrapped and short filler, are really good for an everyday smoke. Will keep them in the humidor for a few days. If you want to get a nice taste of Cuban cigars at a reasonable price these are the ones for you. I have smoked Cohiba's and Montecritso #2 and Brevas are very good. I've smoked this brand for MANY years! I just ordered a box of these from Cigar Terminal and received them the other day. The cigars from Cigar Terminal were identical to the ones I've smoked over the years, totally legit in all ways!!
The cigar is definitely worth trying and it's priced fairly! The cigar smokes well and has a nice medium to full body to them. Good earthy/spicy flavor throughout the smoke. Don't overlook this affordable Cuban cigar. They will not win any awards for aesthetics, but they are great to have around for guests or outdoor activities with your buddies. The aroma and ash are indicative of a traditional Cuban, the short filler allows for easy draws of occasionally spicy and pepper flavors, delivering an overall satisfying smoke. Don't allow your hesitation to purchase from this retailer shy you away. I purchased these same cigars in Havana. What arrived on my doorstep were identical cigars. This is an authentic Cuban cigar retailer.
