I first tried a Bolivar cigar a while ago - it was a treat at a party. That experience was far from a pleasant one and I blacklisted this brand for almost two years. Recently, I ordered the CT sampler pack which included Bolivar Royal Coronas. So, I decided to give another try to Bolivar and ... it was completely different feeling this time. Although branded as a medium-full cigar, I had an impression of smoking a mild, yet very aromatic cigar that one would wish to never end. I would only wish that CT keeps sufficient stock of this wonderful brand so that my cigar colleagues have a chance for smoking these great cigars. - Royal Indeed , 6/19/2015 By Jacob

Royal indeed,
This cigar was one of three Robustos I had when I learnt how to appreciate a cigar rather than just blowing through it for the novelty of the situation.
A wonderful smoke, pairs well with a flat white, use single origins beans.

Lots of strong/medium flavour here. The ash held on for a long time. This stick from a 10-ct sampler and I would be happy to take a box of these in the future. - Classic! , 4/28/2015 By Kevin

I began smoking this cigar in the 1990's. Over time, different brands and vitolas have had better and worse years---except for the Bolivar Royal Corona. It's strong and steady year in and year out. A flavor powerhouse that deserves to be on your top five list! - A wonderful cigar from start to the nub, and a great value! , 4/23/2015 By Thomas

I just ordered my 4th box. This is an exquisite tasting medium Cuban. After dinner and joined with a 5 yr. old Scotch it's an amazing pleasurable experience. My guests, who are also afficianados, love it as much as I. - Top Robusto , 3/24/2015 By El Fumador

Best Robusto in my book when you factor in price and consistency. But then again Bolivar makes some of my favourite smokes. I find it Medium strength and not as strong as some other Bolivars. - great cigar , 3/19/2015 By Martin

I recently received the all Cuban all stars 20 sampler pack and have had the opportunity to smoke the "petit cigars" and just finished the Bolivar Royal Corona.
In my opinion the Bolivar is the best cigar so far. The only problem was that it was wrapped too tight but I was able to resolve this minor issue.
it should be noted that I have a total inability to differentiate tastes such as nuts, fruits, cocoa, coffee, bat guano, etc. I just know what I like in a cigar, e.g., a good taste, construction and great smell. I may comment further as I complete the pack, e.g., the Monte 2, Partagas Serie D, etc.
Honestly, I thought the Quintero was the worst cigar I have ever smoked. They were so tight it was like trying to suck smoke through concrete. Lousy taste to boot.
I must state that the service at CT was very good. They promptly sent the pack and I received it on the 9th day of the 6-10 delivery day time frame.
I will definitely be ordering from CT in the future. - Worth smoking , 2/18/2015 By DrRoberto

Nicely made, nicely fragrant, stats mildly and builds without becoming bitter. Woodier and more subtle and evocative than other Bolivar vitolas I have sampled. A real keeper but not a legend. Definitely worth smoking. I have a handful in the humidor to keep and try again in a few months. - Excellent cigar , 2/13/2015 By John

Beautifully constructed, silly wrapper, perfect draw and burn.
Started strong and finished complex with wood, cedar and underling coffee tones. Spice thru the nose. Medium to full thru out. - Spice! , 1/23/2015 By Walt
