I really enjoy the H.Upmann Short Corona but after finding this, its a new favorite. Reminds me of the No. 2 in a smaller size. I prefer shorter smokes and this one fits the bill.

I received this cigar in a sampler pack. It was the first Montecristo I've ever smoked. I was really looking forward to comparing this cigar with the Romeo Y Julieta Wide Churchill- my all time favorite cigar. The Montecristo's construction was excellent; and its draw and burn were very good. However, its flavor was a little bland...not bad, just not in the same league as the RYJ. It lacked complexity and transition in its flavor profile. Would I smoke one again? Without hesitation. However, if given the choice, the RYJ is a better tasting cigar, hands down!

Interesting little cigar. A quick but enjoyable smoke for when your short on time or it's a little chilly outside. Nice draw and the flavor you would expect from a Monte.

I'm not a fan of Montecristos, but I got one of these is a sampler pack, so I gave it a go. The construction was excellent. I found the flavor a bit subtle until 2/3 through. Unfortunately the stick was 1.5 inches by this time, so I enjoyed about ten minutes of it. If you like Montes and want a 30-minute smoke then go for it. My palate prefers other brands.
