Everyone loves Cohiba...
I am overall conflicted with this cigar, it was good....HOWEVER, not a mind blower. Earth was there, nuttiness was there, little bit of pepper, I'd say white pepper as it was soft and not an aged fermented pepper, but that's about it. 1/2 way through, the cigar transitions to hot burning barnyard leather. I followed this up the next night with an Upmann Royal Robusto which was easily 2-3 times more dynamic and enjoyable.
Is this cigar good? Not bad. Is it $500 good? Not at all. - GLORIOUS , 7/27/2015 By RASS

The Lanceros was my introduction to the Cohiba line. These guys develop from very subtle mild floral/honey/grassy creamy flavors into a very powerful yet silky smooth finish that is similar to the ending of a Monte #2 but in a league all its own. The Trinidad Fundadores is also in this league when aged. Lots of sweetness throughout each puff that progressively builds into a powerhouse masterpiece. A beautiful dark wrapper and top notch construction, even burn line, good draw and is so enticing to smoke that it can easily get hot if greedy. Its a long and exciting smoke that leaves you satisfied for the day. Be sure to have on a full stomach.

Well, firstly I've got to thank the professional team at the Cigar Terminal for their EXCELLENT service quality and highest quality of products.
Allow me to let you in on the situation:
I ordered a box of Lanceros in June '14 - last month that is. When I received the parcel and opened the box, I was greeted with a lovely box of cigars and the jackpot notion was : the box was stamped Oct. 2009!!
This meant I actually didn't have to age the stogies at all as they were already almost 5 years old!!!! How fortunate can one get really? Well, with Cigar Terminal, this is their daily work routine - providing clientele with the highest quality products.
Well, let's get down to the review. After leaving the stogies in the humidor for a period of a week following their receipt, I lit one up.
1st third:
The stogie opened up with aromas of creamy coffee and nutmegs. The body was light to medium. The cigar sported a fantastic after taste with absolutely no rough edges - smooth as the proverbial silk!
2nd third:
The body has become fuller now at medium and the aroma is delicious - with cedar, coffee, cream and a whiff of dried peaches or apricots as I couldn't really tell which.
Final third:
Lanceros is now full-bodied. Fruits and coffee are way way back and the wood and sweet Tobacco are all in your face. There's a hint of cinnamon, too, somewhere but hard to discern. I eventually nubbed this cigar. IT WAS A MEMORABLE SMOKE, REALLY! The good news is I've got 24 more waiting my special attention...
I do recommend this vitola and cigar as it provided me with relentless and continuous bombardment of beautiful aromas and experience lasting 1 hour and 45 minutes - a true feat to achieve.
