Smoking Notes:
Before lighting up:
Robust and complex. Flavors and aromas that include vanilla, espresso, exotic fruit, cedar, chocolate, walnuts, herbs and flowers.
Burn/Draw:
A lush and even draw with a perfect mouth filling burn with billowing clouds of smoke.
Initial third:
In the first third, the cigar starts on very smooth tone but with some already complex profile. The cigar is releasing powerful tastes already, but very sweet ones. We have some aromas of honey, caramel, burnt sugar, and sweet coffee. The flavors are not lingering on the palate at all, the after taste is short and clean. Overall, a very enjoyable first third.
Middle third:
The second third continues on a fairly similar flavor profile than the first one. Some aromas are appearing, some of toasted bread and of fruits, sweet black cherry that is. The sweet flavors of the first third are now stronger, but the body is of the cigar is light-medium in strength. The overall balance of flavors is good and makes this middle part a true delight. The amount of smoke produced by the cigar is generous, but the aftertaste is still rather short. The nicotine starts to kick in.
Final third:
In the final third, the sweetness of the first two third fades away and makes space to more robust flavors. The body of the Churchill is now medium and the flavors are even stronger. It is releasing a lot of nicotine when reaching the nub.
In summary, smoking a Romeo y Julieta Churchill is something every aficionado should do at least once, as this cigar is part of history since it was smoked by the “British Bulldog” himself. This is a masterpiece.
Smoking time: 105 – 135 Minutes

A true gentleman's cigar, as observed elsewhere
, - Any cigar that was preferred by Winston Churchill as a favorite is a cigar worth having in your humidor. The Romeo y Julieta Churchill is a timeless classic when it comes to Cuban cigars - smooth and perfectly medium bodied with subtle notes of spice and cedar on the finish. Several years of aging in a humidor will wonderfully benefit these cigars quite a bit in terms of marrying the flavors together and rounding out the finish, but they're equally delicious fresh out of the box. A true classic.

, - Classic vitola, classic marca, classy smoke.... a true three act play.... sometimes these are just what the doctor ordered, does it blow your hair back with power? No, it has fineness, a gentleman’s cigar.

Even before lit, this smoke is a pleasure to have and burns evenly and smoothly
, - Unfortunately I rushed to smoke this as soon as it arrived. Wonderful initial taste and aroma. The actual smoke came off hard and slightly harsh draw. Let the rest sit for two weeks like I should have, changed experience incredibly. Draw was easier, no harshness to the smoke. Now I enjoy them as one of favorites.

Amazing Julieta #2
, - Possibly my favorite Habano. This Churchill (Julieta #2) is amazing from start to finish. Hints of honey, fruit and coffee make this a wonderful stick with an hour plus smoke time. A classic format and classic stick.
