Very pleasant Churchill to hold. Long, solid cigar, marked with two bands, with nice wrapper, almost no seams, rich brown color, discrete veins, mat surface with just some oil shine. My piece had two cracks on the wrapper. No squishiness, just solid build.
I expected a little easier draw accustomed to other Churchills and big cigars before lighting this piece up, but not a big deal here. Complex nutty, sweet flavor, some vanilla/coffee hints, maybe chocolate before ignition.
First third very very sweet, vanilla, coffee, sugar taste, very tasty. Pleasant to smoke, short decent aftertaste.
Second third with complete change, maybe with just a tone of the first third, but definitely heavier, from light to solid medium, feels of burnt caramel, toasted bread, with sweetness disappearing slowly.
This continues to last third, cigar gets heavier progressively, with very nice smoke output.
I had a piece with some construction faults resulting in almost an inch of uneven burn, ash lasted for good two inches from start, with one correction in burn line needed, flame went off at the end of the cigar by itself, I did not ignite it back, the last draws were heavy enough.
Very nice smoke, lasted about an hour and a few minutes, enjoyed mostly the first two thirds. Did not like the construction, though.
