The Partagas Capitols announced in 2017, are finally here. Splendid little cigars, 5” (129mm) by 42, they come in retro style metal packs of 5 cigars. These are true Partagas cigars, rolled with tobacco grown in the Vuelta Abajo zone, and offer rich and balanced typical Cuban flavors: wood, leather, pepper. The Partagas Serie D No.6 is a incredible Petit Robusto, 3.5” (90mm) long, of 50 ring gauge, and comes in a pack of 5 cigars. Released at the 2014 Habanos Festival, they are the shortest cigar in the Partagas line. Very similar to the Partagas Serie D No.4 or to the D No.5, they share the same ring gauge. It is a powerful short smoke, however not as strong as the No. 4, which has the typical Partagas flavors, such as coffee, wood, vanilla, rich and strong tobacco and a good zing of pepper at times. Very good construction on this short cigar, this is a go-to cigar for a fan of the Partagas Serie D No.4 and when time is of the essence, especially in the winter. Initially planned in 2011, it was finally released in 2018 after years of waiting. The original Club King from Romeo y Julieta was discontinued in the 1980s to the dismay of many aficionados.
