The Montecristo No.1 is of Lonsdale format, or Cervantes, 42 ring gauge and 6.5 inches (165mm) in length. As opposed to No.2 and the No.4, the No.1 is little known, and this is a shame because this little stogie packs a true Montecristo experience in a perfectly rolled cigar. It is also a pretty strong smoke, oscillating between a medium and a medium to full bodied cigar. It is nevertheless very creamy and smooth. There are lots of earth, cedar, tobacco flavors as you would expect from a Cuban cigar, but there are also many other flavors, such as strong nuts, all kind fruits, some citrus, chocolate, vanilla. The Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas is a subtle Cuban cigar, a light-medium Prominente, 7.6” (194mm) long, of 49 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. For some, they say this is the best cigar in the world. This Double Corona has already confirmed its rank in the marketplace: it's a great smoke. The only complain that could be made about this cigar come from very seasoned aficionados who would say it might not be strong enough. As all vitolas from Hoyo de Monterrey this Doble Coronas (Double Coronas) is extremely well constructed. It has a smooth oily wrapper, a good draw and strong aromas. The H.Upmann No.2 is one of Cuba's most popular vitola, a delicious medium Pyramid, 6.1” (156mm) long, of 52 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is right up there with the Montecristo No.2. However the flavors are very recognizable as H.Upmann, but the pointy shape of this cigar gives a smoke that is unique in this brand. The H Upmann Magnum 50 is a classic Cuban medium smoke, of Double Robusto format, 50 ring gauge, 6.3" (160mm) long and comes in box of 25 cigars.
