The Partagas Serie D No.5 is a creamy medium-full Petit Robusto, 4.3” (110mm) long, of 50 ring gauge, and comes in aluminum tubes in a box of 15 cigars. First released as a Limited Edition in 2008 and due to its immense success and popularity as an Edicion Limitada, it was later also released as a regular production cigar. The Partagas Serie D No.6 is a complex Habano, a medium-full Petit Robusto, 3.5” (90mm) long, of 50 ring gauge, and comes in a box of 20 cigars. Released at the 2014 Habanos Festival, they are the shortest cigar in the Partagas line. Very similar to the Partagas Serie D No.4 or to the D No.5, they share the same ring gauge. It is a powerful short smoke, however not as strong as the No. 4, which has the typical Partagas flavors, such as coffee, wood, vanilla, rich and strong tobacco and a good zing of pepper at times. Very good construction on this short cigar, this is a go-to cigar for a fan of the Partagas Serie D No.4 and when time is of the essence, especially in the winter. The Rafael Gonzalez Perlas is a medium-full Petit Corona, 4" (102mm) long, of 40 ring gauge, and comes in 5 packs of 5 cigars. One of the most recent cigars of the Rafael Gonzalez lineup, (released in 2011), and is a pretty short smoke, perfect for a morning break. Its construction is great; it's perfectly rolled and feels nice between the fingers. It smokes beautifully, rather slowly and has a nice creamy profile but also develops some powerful woody aromas. There are also some creamy aromas, some coffee, some spices from pepper and some berries touches. The finish is long, with vanilla and some floral aftertaste.
