Cuban Cigars

The Vegas Robaina Familiar, discontinued in 2012, is a powerful and complex Corona, 5.6” (129mm) long, of 42 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. The flavor profile is very similar to the other vitolas from the Vegas Robaina line up. There is a lot of creaminess, smoothness, some straightforward tobacco, some wood and cedar, coffee and chocolate. There are also notes of sweetness, molasses, nuts, leather and throughout the whole cigar some spiciness. The flavors work very well altogether; the cigar has no rough edges. The construction is as you want it, the burn doesn't require any attention, and it is a pleasure to smoke until the nub. Más información

The Partagas Super Partagas is an inexpensive classic Habanos, of Cremas format, 40 ring gauge, 5.5” (140mm) long and comes in a box of 25 cigars. This is a long filler cigar, handmade with a new blend and a higher quality tobacco. A very rich cigar that has nice aromas of smoked wood, earth, cream and spices. The Super Partagas has a medium tobacco taste that is slightly sweet. Goes very well with a black coffee. Its wrapper is beautiful and oily. Even better when aged. The Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales is a short and medium delicacy, of Mareva format, 42 ring gauge, 5.2” (132mm) long and comes in a box of 25 cigars. What used to be a machine made cigar until 2002 (slightly bigger in diameter), is now fully hand-rolled and it comes in between the Mille Fleur and the Petit Corona in term of classification. It packs lots of strength and flavor is relative short smoke (approx. 45 mins). There are the vigorous typical Partagas flavors, with lots of cedar, earth, salt, black coffee and some creamy notes as well. There is for sure lots of spice from pepper and cinnamon. Overall the cigar is a solid medium, which would pair beautifully with a smoky whiskey. And it can get even better after 2 or 3 years of aging where the complexity of the Petit Corona Especiales can express itself fully. Más información

The Montecristo No.3 is a rich Habanos that deserves more attention, of Corona format, of 42 ring gauge, 5.6” (142mm) long and comes in a box 15 cigars. It is slightly bigger than the Montecristo No.4 but smaller than the No.1, two very famous cigars. Therefore, it creates a bridge between the two, it has the same ring gauge as the No.4 but slightly longer. It benefits from the usual Montecristo quality and flavor profile, lots of coffee, earthiness and wood. It is a beautiful Corona that can both appeal to experimented smokers and to the beginners. The Hoyo de Monterrey Palmas Extra is a delicious and affordable medium Habano, with a 40 ring gauge, 5.5” (140mm) long and comes in a box of 25 cigars. A very nice Corona, that has a strong woodsy flavor, coupled with a subtle spiciness.
