The Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion No.4 is an exquisite and complex Corona Extra, with 48 ring gauge, 5" (127mm) long and comes in a box of 25 cigars. It similar to the Petit Coronas from the same brand, and full of flavors. It has obviously some familiarity with the other Marevas from Romeo y Julieta. It reveals some earthy, woody aromas, and also a good amount of leather and some hints of spice on the tongue. The construction is wonderful, it is a beautiful hand rolled stogie, and the packaging, the magnificent aluminum tube, makes it a cigar that every cigar enthusiast should have in his humidor. The Romeo y Julieta Linea de Oro Dianas, part of the new top tier segment of the brand, is a delicious Robusto Extra, which comes in a box of 20 cigars. The “Linea de Oro”, literally the “golden line” in Spanish is the pendant of the Maduro 5 line for the Cohiba, the top of the crop among the Romeo y Julieta brand, launched to celebrate the brand's 145th anniversary. Habanos released three totally new cigars, which are among the biggest ring gauge cigars available among Habanos, the Hidalgos, the Nobles and Dianas. The Dianas vitola is called a Damas, 52 ring gauge by 5 ¾ inches and, as the other two, comes in a refined high lacquered box of 20 cigars. One can right away see that these cigars are different from the regular production line, as the box is painted in a very elegant red and gold colors, adorned with an embossed golden medallion on the lid, representing the classic balcony scene. Each cigar comes with a specific Linea de Oro band with the name of the cigar as well as a secondary golden band at the foot. The Hidalgos, Nobles and Dianas are all stronger than the regular Romeo y Julieta cigars, their strength around medium to full. The main flavors of the Dianas are of wood, earth and leather while the whole smoke is very creamy.

The Saint Luis Rey Pura Vida is a 2020 Costa Rica Exclusive Regional Edition cigar, a 4.72” (120 mm) by 54 ring gauge, and comes in a box of 10 cigars. Only 6,000 boxes have been made in Cuba, so it is a cigar that will be hard to find very shortly. Similar in size as the previous Costa Rica and Nicaragua Regional Exclusive Habano in 2017 (the Ramon Allones Nuevo Mundo), it is of Magnum 54 vitola, a highly praised format in the region. Named Pura Vida after the popular local saying that is used to wish someone’s happiness at the end or at the beginning of a conversation. Entirely hand rolled with tobacco grown in the Vuelta Abajo region, this is a beautiful cigar, very comparable to the highly acclaimed and now discontinued Saint Luis Rey Serie A. The Pura Vida will certainly get even better after some aging, so do not miss your chance to get this little gem while available.

The Trinidad Reyes is a creamy and rich Cuban smoke, a medium-bodied Petit Corona, 4.3” (110mm) long, of 40 ring gauge, and comes in a 12 cigars box. Due to its short format and its smaller ring gauge, the Trinidad Reyes might feel harsher than other Trinidad vitolas, but it is definitely from the same brand as the flavors are typical Trinidad. The Vegas Robaina Famosos is a delicious and smooth medium-full Corona Extra, 5" (127mm) long, of 48 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is surely a Robusto to place among the top 5, and in direct competition to Ramon Allones. It is a medium-to-strong flavor cigar, very rich with lots of woody and earthy flavors, and some spicy touch.
