The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.3 is a medium bodied Robusto, 4.92” (125mm) by 54 ring gauge, and comes in a box of 25 cigars. First released in Spain in September 2023, it is a new vitola, marking a departure from the traditional shapes of the Epicure line. The production name for this entirely new format is "Originales," and is the fourth addition to the popular "Línea Epicure" range. With its excellent construction and richly layered flavor profile, the Epicure No. 3 undoubtedly deserves a place in any regular cigar rotation.

The Montecristo No.1 is of Lonsdale format, or Cervantes, 42 ring gauge and 6.5 inches (165mm) in length. As opposed to No.2 and the No.4, the No.1 is little known, and this is a shame because this little stogie packs a true Montecristo experience in a perfectly rolled cigar. It is also a pretty strong smoke, oscillating between a medium and a medium to full bodied cigar. It is nevertheless very creamy and smooth. There are lots of earth, cedar, tobacco flavors as you would expect from a Cuban cigar, but there are also many other flavors, such as strong nuts, all kind fruits, some citrus, chocolate, vanilla. Everything works well together; the balance of flavors is always under control. This is a cigar that worth a try, especially when it is 2 years of age. Más información

The Montecristo No.3 is the missing link in Montecristo’s lineup, of Corona format, of 42 ring gauge, 5.6” (142mm) long and comes in a box 25 cigars. The “Linea de Oro”, literally the “golden line” in Spanish is the pendant of the Maduro 5 line for the Cohiba, the top of the crop among the Romeo y Julieta brand, launched to celebrate the brand's 145th anniversary. Habanos released three totally new cigars, which are among the biggest ring gauge cigars available among Habanos, the Hidalgos, the Nobles and Dianas. The Hidalgos vitola (also called Hidalgos), is 57 ring gauge by 4 ⅞ inches and, as the other two, comes in a refined high lacquered box of 20 cigars. One can right away see that these cigars are different from the regular production line, as the box is painted in a very elegant red and gold colors, adorned with an embossed golden medallion on the lid, representing the classic balcony scene. Each cigar comes with a specific Linea de Oro band with the name of the cigar as well as a secondary golden band at the foot. The Saint Luis Rey Pura Vida is a 2020 Costa Rica Exclusive Regional Edition cigar, a 4.72” (120 mm) by 54 ring gauge, and comes in a box of 10 cigars. Only 6,000 boxes have been made in Cuba, so it is a cigar that will be hard to find very shortly. Similar in size as the previous Costa Rica and Nicaragua Regional Exclusive Habano in 2017 (the Ramon Allones Nuevo Mundo), it is of Magnum 54 vitola, a highly praised format in the region. Named Pura Vida after the popular local saying that is used to wish someone’s happiness at the end or at the beginning of a conversation. Entirely hand rolled with tobacco grown in the Vuelta Abajo region, this is a beautiful cigar, very comparable to the highly acclaimed and now discontinued Saint Luis Rey Serie A. The Pura Vida will certainly get even better after some aging, so do not miss your chance to get this little gem while available.
