Trinidad
Year of foundation:1969
Tobacco Country: Cuba
Tobacco Procedence:Vuelta Abajo
Factory: El Laguito
Much secrecy surrounds the brand Trinidad. Said to be first produced since the late 1960’s in El Laguito factory in Havana, the very factory where the premium Cohiba cigars are rolled at, the brand wasn’t known to the general public until the late 1990’s when Habanos launched the brand to some limited countries at an official event in Paris. It was then available for export to the rest of the world in the following years, but its limited supply still makes it one of the most sought-after brand.
Among its most famous vitolas is the first ever release, the Trinidad Fundadores (or Founder in Spanish) which is similar in size to the Cohiba Lancero, a beautiful 7 inches long by 40 which like most Trinidad cigars, is a medium bodied Habano. The other famous ones are the Trinidad Reyes, Trinidad Vigia and Trinidad La Trova LCDH. There is also a Dominican Trinidad cigar brand that was started after the Cuban revolution. However, the original brand is Cuban Trinidad that is mentioned here.

Trinidad Casilda Coleccion Habanos 2019 - 24 cigars
3.999,00 $Sin existencias
The Trinidad Casilda Colección Habanos is a La Casa Del Habanos exclusive release, a 7.28” (185mm) by 53, and comes in a book-shaped box of 24 cigars. Released in 2019, this is the perfect collectors’ item as its supply is surely very rare, being sold exclusively at La Casa Del Habanos stores and as only 3,000 boxes have been produced, each box being numbered from 1 to 3,000. As it is part of the Colección Habanos, it comes in a mandatory and very elegant book-shaped wooden cabinet, which never offered that many cigars except the “Obras Completas” Edition (released in 2011) which holds 30 cigars. As expected is among the pricier cigars out of Cuba.
The cigar itself is also unique; being of Sobresalientes No.2 vitola (Double Robusto shape), it is a massive cigar, perfectly rolled with tobacco grown in the Vuelta Abajo region. As every Trinidad cigar, the triple cap ends with the typical Trinidad pigtail.
