The Romeo y Julieta Linea de Oro Nobles, part of the new top tier segment of the brand, is a delightful Pyramid, which comes in a box of 20 cigars. The “Linea de Oro”, literally the “golden line” in Spanish is the pendant of the Maduro 5 line for the Cohiba, the top of the crop among the Romeo y Julieta brand, launched to celebrate the brand's 145th anniversary. Habanos released three totally new cigars, which are among the biggest ring gauge cigars available among Habanos, the Hidalgos, the Nobles and Dianas. The Nobles vitola is called a Triangulares, 56 ring gauge by 5 ⅜ inches and, as the other two, comes in a refined high lacquered box of 20 cigars. One can right away see that these cigars are different from the regular production line, as the box is painted in a very elegant red and gold colors, adorned with an embossed golden medallion on the lid, representing the classic balcony scene. Each cigar comes with a specific Linea de Oro band with the name of the cigar as well as a secondary golden band at the foot. The Hidalgos, Nobles and Dianas are all stronger than the regular Romeo y Julieta cigars, their strength around medium to full. The Montecristo No.1 is of Lonsdale format, or Cervantes, 42 ring gauge and 6.5 inches (165mm) in length. As opposed to No.2 and the No.4, the No.1 is little known, and this is a shame because this little stogie packs a true Montecristo experience in a perfectly rolled cigar. It is also a pretty strong smoke, oscillating between a medium and a medium to full bodied cigar. It is nevertheless very creamy and smooth. There are lots of earth, cedar, tobacco flavors as you would expect from a Cuban cigar, but there are also many other flavors, such as strong nuts, all kind fruits, some citrus, chocolate, vanilla. Everything works well together; the balance of flavors is always under control. This is a cigar that worth a try, especially when it is 2 years of age. En savoir plus

First released in Spain in September 2023, it is a new vitola, marking a departure from the traditional shapes of the Epicure line. The production name for this entirely new format is "Originales," and is the fourth addition to the popular "Línea Epicure" range. With its excellent construction and richly layered flavor profile, the Epicure No. 3 undoubtedly deserves a place in any regular cigar rotation.

The H.Upmann No.2 is one of Cuba's most popular vitola, a delicious medium Pyramid, 6.1” (156mm) long, of 52 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is right up there with the Montecristo No.2.
