The Hoyo de San Juan from Hoyo de Monterrey is a tasty medium-bodied geniales, with 54 ring gauge and 5.9” (150mm) long and comes in a box of 25 cigars. Released at the 2014 Habanos Festival, this big ring gauge cigar is reminiscent of the old brand, but with a modern twist that appeal to many big ring gauges aficionados. It sports a new band which reads “Serie Le Hoyo” but as any Hoyo de Monterrey, it is hand rolled only using tobacco from San Juan y Martínez district, where the brand was born in 1865. It is of light to medium flavor, very aromatic and rich smoke. One of the best Hoyo out there. Has a great potential for aging, which would make it even smoother. En savoir plus

The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.3 is a medium bodied Robusto, 4.92” (125mm) by 54 ring gauge, and comes in a box of 25 cigars. First released in Spain in September 2023, it is a new vitola, marking a departure from the traditional shapes of the Epicure line. The production name for this entirely new format is "Originales," and is the fourth addition to the popular "Línea Epicure" range. With its excellent construction and richly layered flavor profile, the Epicure No. 3 undoubtedly deserves a place in any regular cigar rotation.

The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.1 is a smooth Corona Gorda, 5.6” (143mm) long, of 46 ring gauge, and comes in aluminum tubes in a pack of 3 cigars. It is a cigar of the next to perfect construction; the wrapper is smooth and slightly oily. It is smoking beautifully and the draw on this cigar is flawless. On top of that, the flavor profile of this stogie is incredible. Definitely a must-try for all the fans of Corona Gorda vitolas. There are flavors of wood, earth, hay and nuts. There is also lots of creamy espresso, and some mineral notes. It might not be the most complex cigar, but it nevertheless won’t let you indifferent. Some delicate touches of pepper also spice up the Epicure No.1, whereas in terms of strength, it never goes over a medium body. The Cuaba Divinos is a powerful and tasty small cigar, of Petit Bouquet format, 43 ring gauge, 4" (101mm) long and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is masterfully made by some incredibly gifted roller, as the balanced double figurado is packed with flavors of honey, moist earth and pepper with an overtone of wood and spice. The Cuaba Divinos is the smallest of the Cuaba's. In spite of its small size, it ages very well. The Divinos is a powerful full bodied smoke and the strongest of the Cuaba line. It is a 1996 release. The Cohiba Siglo I is an outstanding Cuban smoke, a rich and smooth Petit Corona, of 40 ring gauge, 4" (102mm) long and comes in a box of 25 cigars. This is the shortest cigar in the Linea 1492.This small format Habano, short and thin gauge, is a quick smoke. The burn is even and nice. A perfect choice for a short break.
