The Cohiba Esplendido is one of Cohiba’s jewel, a powerful yet smooth Churchill, of 47 ring gauge, 7" (178mm) long and comes in a pack of 3 cigars. Originally launched in 1989, it became so popular in the beginning of the 2000’s to the point that it was over produced which caused a decline of quality. This issue has been resolved since, and the Esplendido has recovered its position at the top of Cuban cigars and even in the world, as it was voted among the Top 25 Cigars of 2014 by Cigar Aficionado. The Cuaba Divinos is a powerful and tasty small cigar, of Petit Bouquet format, 43 ring gauge, 4" (101mm) long and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is masterfully made by some incredibly gifted roller, as the balanced double figurado is packed with flavors of honey, moist earth and pepper with an overtone of wood and spice. The Cuaba Divinos is the smallest of the Cuaba's. In spite of its small size, it ages very well. The Divinos is a powerful full bodied smoke and the strongest of the Cuaba line. It is a 1996 release. The Hoyo du Maire is part of Le Hoyo Series and is of Small Panetela/Entreactos format, 30 ring gauge and 3.9 inches (100mm) in length. This cigar is part of the Le Hoyo series, a special series made for a Swiss distributor in the years 1940's and, as the cigars from this series, is pretty different than other Hoyo de Monterrey. The Hoyo du Maire, is a medium to full flavored cigar, with tobacco and wood as main flavors. There are also lots of toasted aromas, and notes of leather, cream and a bit of tea notes. Despite being a pretty short smoke, not more than half an hour, but still manages to provide the typical Cuban "twang" with a lot of complexity, while never being over powerful.
