Therefore, it creates a bridge between the two, it has the same ring gauge as the No.4 but slightly longer. The Montecristo No.1 is a beautiful creamy yet powerful cigar of Lonsdale format, of 42 ring gauge, 6.5” (165mm) long and comes in a box 10 cigars. As opposed to No.2 and the No.4, the No.1 is little known, and this is a shame because this little stogie packs a true Montecristo experience in a perfectly rolled cigar. It is also a pretty strong smoke, oscillating between a medium and a medium to full bodied cigar. It is nevertheless very creamy and smooth. There are lots of earth, cedar, tobacco flavors as you would expect from a Cuban cigar, but there are also many other flavors, such as strong nuts, all kind fruits, some citrus, chocolate, vanilla. The La Flor De Cano Petit Coronas is a mild and affordable Habanos, 4.8” (123mm) long, of 40 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. After being machine made until 2002, it is now fully hand rolled using short filler from tobacco blend from both Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta regions. It comes in a beautiful cedar sleeve that enhances the ageing process. It is a mild cigar, that is perfect as a morning smoke and which is a great entry smoke for a beginner. The Juan Lopez Petit Coronas is a rich and smooth medium Habanos of Petit Corona format, 5.1” (129mm) long, of 42 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It’s neither the most famous Petit Coronas from Habanos SA for sure, nor the prettiest looking. However, it is a very affordable stogie that is very pleasant to smoke. It is a smoke that offers typical Cuban flavors, wood, tobacco, strong leather, earthy tones, coupled with lots of soft spices and notes of cocoa, honey, nuts and hay. Thanks to its amazing construction, the draw is perfect all along; the burn line is sharp and generates a good amount of smoke.
