The Juan Lopez Seleccion No.1 is a rich and tasty medium Habanos of Grand Corona format, 5.6” (143mm) long, of 46 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. The Juan Lopez brand is one the oldest founded in Cuba, in 1876. Released in 1990s, it is fully hand-made with Vuelta Abajo filler leaves. It can be sometimes hard to find, as the production can be interrupted at times, due to high quality standards. It is a Corona Gorda format, an extraordinary compromise between a Churchill, a Hermoso No.4 and a Corona. It is full of flavors; the aromas are well balanced between woodsy, earthy, sweet and peppery aromas and some creaminess to bind it all. The texture of the Juan Lopez Seleccion No.1 is amazing, generates lots of creamy smoke and an amazing taste. It can be both enjoyed young and fresh or with some more age and would delight both the beginner and the cigar aficionado. In short, a very impressive smoke by a lesson-known Cuban brand. The H.Upmann Royal Robustos is a medium Edmundo, a La Casa Del Habano exclusivity, 5.3” (135mm) long, of 52 ring gauge, and comes in a 10 cigars box. Released in limited quantities in 2011, in front of its great success, the production of this little jewel continued since 2012. This is cigar is hand-rolled by La Casa Del Habanos for H Upmann, and is using only long filler and tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone in the Pinar del Rio region in Cuba. The cigar has a beautiful construction, smokes very well. Not a very strong cigar, nor very complex, it is medium bodied, and offers great Cuban flavors: coffee, earth, hay and lots of cedar. This cigar is also quite spicy, which makes it a great everyday cigar. It also has a great potential for aging, 2 or 3 years are recommended. En savoir plus

The H.Upmann No.2 is one of Cuba's most popular vitola, a delicious medium Pyramid, 6.1” (156mm) long, of 52 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is right up there with the Montecristo No.2. However the flavors are very recognizable as H.Upmann, but the pointy shape of this cigar gives a smoke that is unique in this brand.
