Appearance:

When opening the aluminum tube, the cigar comes wrapped in a cedar sleeve. The wrapper under the sleeve looks good and is pretty smooth.

Before lighting up

The wrapper smells of tobacco and cedar.

Burn/ Draw

Once cut, the draw is good, a bit on the tight side, but the burn line is neat and even. A nice white smoke is released by the cigar.

Initial third:

The first third of the cigar is very mild, slightly under a medium body. The dominant flavors are of woody and earthy with some hints of leather.

Middle third:

In the middle third, the flavors increase a tad in strength, the cigar is now a medium bodied smoke. The flavor profile remains similar to the first third, except now stronger, with the addition of pepper notes.

Final third:

The final third is very enjoyable, the flavor remains similar to the previous third, still very sweet, woody flavors.

In summary, this is a mild to medium smoke, with typical Punch aromas, that will delight beginners.
