Appearance:
It has a light brown and very smooth wrapper that has a sheen to it. Good bunch at the foot. Carefully applied cap.
Smoking Notes:
Before lighting up
Strong aromas of barnyard, hay and cedar wood.
Burn/ Draw
A razor sharp burn and an easy going draw.
Initial third:
The first third starts off with a strong note of oak and cedar, some creamy leather and just a tad bit of sweetness. There is a small amount of spice on the lips and a little pepper. During the first third, there’s a note of pu-erh tea, giving it a noticeable peaty taste. The draw is very easy. A delight to smoke.
Middle third:
Into the second third, the tea note is getting stronger, as is the sweetness underneath. There is a nice jasmine note that comes and goes along with notes of cedar, chocolate and just a hint of pepper. The spice from the first third has completely disappeared.
Final third:
In the final third, the cigar makes way to some more herbal flavors, of fresh hay and a hint of pu erh tea. A smooth taste of honey is also appearing, along with some spices: of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom. There are still lots of nice woody aromas and some earthy tones.
In summary, a nice and smooth Habano that should find its place in your humidor.
Smoking time:
45 - 90 Minutes
